Duke was pulling up his phone to double check the status of their portal home when two men approached from the Gull's gravel lot.
"Duke Crocker?" one of them said.
"Yeah," the second one said. "That's him. That's definitely him."
"Can I help you fellas?" Duke asked, frowning.
"We were looking for a card game," the first one said.
Duke shook his head. "So that's a 'no', then."
