(She knew there wasn't anything she could actually have done, she had enough of her own nightmares to know that. Still, sometimes she couldn't keep from hoping.)
She let her eyes close. Let her mind try and go empty, try and not think about anything except the warmth and the soft sounds of breathing reminding her she wasn't alone.
Breakfast could wait.
