OOC: Sure, let's infopost today!
Dec. 29th, 2021 01:08 pmI have four townies. That's insane. I keep looking at the class sign up post and reminding myself that I dropped my student in part because I was being very bad about pinging her into classes. . . .

- Is from Haven, which apparently now counts as an "old show", between seasons three and four
- Lives on one of the boats in the port. Pretty sure the Cape Rouge is still the biggest one there
- Is disgustingly adorably in love with
okteiviakom and
my_own_advocate and keeps running off to go on sexy vacations with them - This is because we're getting lots of disgustingly cute time in before BEATING THIS BOY INTO THE GROUND WITH HIS CANON
- owns and runs Luke's, the town diner, which has loads of shifts available if anyone wants a job
- is almost pathologically helpful when he's not trying to be "selfish", but is getting better at boundaries
- no really he's in therapy and everything we're so proud of him
- but also, like, I'm going to break him in half soon

- Is from Station 19, currently doing a weird cherry-picked version of season four because I'm not touching the canon COVID shit, but the whole "my dad's just discovered he's gay and is cheating on my mom about it" thing is one of like, two interesting things that's happened with his character of late
- oh yeah, he's super gay. And single! And not entirely over his Dead Husband Trauma
- is the other firefighter in town. And also kind of hoping for an emergency to happen. One that doesn't traumatize anyone would be great
- has a pitbull named Probie who he's trained in rescue and comfort animal techniques
- is extremely judgy and thinks most people are idiots who'd rather sit inside and burn to death than be inconvenienced even a little bit
- his canon does not often disabuse him of this notion
- is otherwise very awkward and tries to be nice, even while being, you know, super judgy
- seriously he canonically lectures victims while transporting them to the hospital
- Travis, my man. Why?

- Is from The Magicians, the tv show canon, though maybe informed on occasion by the books. But probably not much because the books don't really flesh anyone out except Quentin
- is currently very slowly experiencing a version of season 3, in that we established the main plot point of the season, but Margo-mun and I are both too busy to get our people out much and we want to make sure we have some Fandom people to accompany them on their Key Quest
- lives with his platonic soulmate
not_a_goddamn_princess, who is currently pretty sure he's going to get himself killed trying to help out
intheeyeofthebeholding because he's crushing on him - isn't crushing on Jon, he just has a soft spot for tiny kinda pathetic awkward supernerds
- is like a 5 on the Kinsey scale
- and fabulous but no longer quite as much of a megabitch as he used to be
- is deeply performative about everything he does. Deeply. His whole self is carefully manufactured to cover up the giant well of trauma that makes up his insides
- which he also drowns out in chemical dependencies
- is a High King, but not as into the title as Margo is into hers as High Queen
- is kind of happy to no longer bear that responsibility, honestly
- oh yeah, is a Magician, which means he can do magic, especially the kind that affects the physical world around him
- is telekinetic, but almost never uses that ability
- instead depending on his world's magic, which is a complex system involving a lot of math and hand gestures
- works at the Magic Box on Mondays, when I remember to post him there
- Is from Roswell, New Mexico, not to be confused with Roswell, the old show from 1999
- is from post-season 3, having just managed to reform a hardcore alt-right douche by accidentally wiping all his memories and thus giving him basically a mental enema
- is 21 and an artist, currently in school at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore
- moved to Fandom because she's also a recovering junkie and was worried the dorms would make it hard to stay on the wagon
- is wondering if this was a wise choice after the last month, yes
- is not technically an alien herself but is good friends with aliens
- and also not NOT an alien herself?
- she was jammed in an alien stasis pod for so long it rewrote some of her DNA and now she has alien powers
- also she was resurrected from being dead for 10 years, so she's TECHNICALLY 31. But also in another way just as technically 21
- it's complicated, okay?
- is working at Groovy Tunes on Tuesdays and living above Luke's
- and 100% needs to get out more, silly me I brought her in just before a BDE and then the holidays Ate My Brain
- is on the east coast of the US, and thus on EST
- but also a big time night owl
- but also tends to wander off after her work day ends at 8 pm
- so uh. Make of that what you will ping-schedule wise
- is a very organic RPer and up for Most Things
- especially the ones that will traumatize her character
- has a very silly cat named Murgatroyd, an anxiety disorder, a yarn addiction, and at the moment a weird inability to properly hyperfixate on a media for more than like a month at a time after most of her life spent in multi-year obsessions with one particular fandom after another
- maybe I'm just learning to be polyfannish, IDK
- probably the pandemic has destroyed my attention span
- one of those
- should definitley be working instead of writing up an infopost but OH WELL

Gimme any questions or comments! I need further distraction from the hell that is the week between Christmas and New Years in my job!
