It'd been a nice day in Baltimore, sunny and cool without quite being cold, so there were a few more people still wandering around the park and the zoo than Duke had anticipated when they got there. Still, while there were some people, it still wasn't a lot of people. Slightly more than Fandom numbers, much less than usual downtown Baltimore numbers.
"So, what should we check out first?" Duke asked. "Polar bears? Alligators? Oh hey, porcupines!"
[it's Tuesday where
okteiviakom is, and I'm impatient. For the one expected, and probably some slowplay!]
[Somewhat belated content note: the Park thread gets pretty dark, and involves references to: alcohol and drug abuse, prostitution, child endangerment, and domestic violence.]

Re: The Zoo
Date: 2020-01-28 10:51 pm (UTC)The otter, quite used to being watched by humans, did a couple flips and barrel rolls in the water. Duke pressed his hand lightly to the glass as he watched, grin going a little wistful.
"I can't wait until it's warm enough to swim again."

Re: The Zoo
Date: 2020-01-28 11:59 pm (UTC)She had reason to believe he wasn't going to let her drown, or anything. So it was going to be fine.
"And another thing to look forward to." It was still weird to her, to have those.
